The North Cape or locally called Nordkapp, the most northern point in mainland Europe is a magical place to visit. Visiting in Winter it has an other worldly feel and I have been extremely lucky to have visited here twice. Knivskjellodden is the true northernmost point of Europe and can only be reached by hiking along a small trail on the coast. The hike is a truly rewarding experience, the wilderness is beautiful and the endless ocean panorama is a stunning and unique sight to see! The trail can be quite challenging.
